Pza. Nueva n.2 (SEVILLE)

a hotel connected to the city

For decades, the building we inhabit served as the headquarters of the Telefónica company. And although the setting has changed, its role remains the same: bringing people together. Hence our name, Confidencia.

Situated in the historic centre of Seville, we are just a short stroll from the Santa Cruz neighbourhood, the Cathedral, and the Royal Alcázar, along with many other lesser-known spots that we would be delighted to share with you.

HERE, IN SEVILLE, WE HAVE A DIFFERENT RHYTHM

Seville is an open, vibrant city that expresses itself without filters and out loud. You can feel it in its streets and squares that are always bustling, in that constant hum that envelops everything. Confidencia is a place to slow down while Seville vibrates. The starting point to experience the city from within.

Faqs

To doubt is human. To ask is wise. Here you will find some answers to the most common questions. If you cannot find the one you are looking for, contact us and we will be delighted to answer them

I've just landed at San Pablo Airport. What's the quickest and most affordable way to get to the hotel?

Seville–San Pablo Airport is 10 km from the hotel, and you have two main options. The most economical is the EA (Especial Aeropuerto) bus line, which runs every 15–30 minutes and takes 35–50 minutes to reach the centre (ticket approx. €6 per person). The most convenient is a taxi, with a fixed fare of approximately €25–28 during the day and €30–35 at night, on public holidays and at weekends, with a journey of just 15–20 minutes straight to our door in Plaza Nueva. Please note that Seville has no train or metro connection to the airport. You can find more details in Getting to Confidencia Sevilla.

I'm visiting Seville for sightseeing. Can I walk to the main attractions, or is the hotel far from the centre?

We are in the very heart of historic Seville: the Cathedral and the Giralda are just 500 metres away (a 6-minute walk), the Real Alcázar is 750 metres (9 minutes) and the Metropol Parasol (Setas de Sevilla) is 600 metres (8 minutes) along Calle Sierpes. What's more, the T1 tram stop is right in Plaza Nueva, at the hotel's door, and within a few minutes it connects you to Santa Justa station (AVE high-speed trains) via San Bernardo.

My flight lands in Seville very early in the morning. Can I get into my room early, or at least leave my luggage at the hotel?

Official check-in is from 15:00, but luggage storage is completely free from the moment you arrive, so you can drop off your bags and head out to enjoy the city straight away. If your room is ready earlier, we will gladly give it to you, subject to the hotel's availability that day.

My flight home leaves late at night on the day I check out. What options do I have to make the most of my last day in Seville without carrying my luggage around?

You can leave your luggage in our free left-luggage room on the day of check-out and carry on enjoying Seville hands-free. If you would rather stay in your room for longer, we offer late check-out until 16:00, subject to availability and for a supplement. Please email us in advance at reservations@confidenciasevilla.com to confirm.

I've seen that you have a rooftop with a swimming pool. Is it open to the public or only to hotel guests?

Our rooftop pool is an exclusive space for guests staying at the hotel, designed for you to enjoy a dip and views over Seville's old town in the calm of a private setting, with no outside capacity or third-party bookings. There is no need to book: as a guest, you have direct access during opening hours, from 10:00 to 20:00.

We are a family with young children. Do you have family rooms, cots or extra beds?

All rooms have a maximum occupancy of 2 people. We do not have rooms with single beds or interconnecting rooms. A cot can be added to our Calma, Confidente and Complice rooms; we recommend booking one in advance, as they are limited.

I'm travelling for work and need to work remotely for a few hours. Is the hotel Wi-Fi fast, and is there a good desk space in the room?

High-speed Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel. All our rooms are equipped with a desk so that you can work from there.

I'd like to book with breakfast. What kind of food do you offer and what time is it served?

We offer a buffet breakfast featuring Andalusian market produce — Iberian ham, extra virgin olive oil, Sevillian-style toast and seasonal fruit — served from 07:00 to 11:00. The hotel also has a restaurant open from 19:00 to 23:00, and during the day you can enjoy bar service on the rooftop.

I'm gluten intolerant and follow a vegan diet. Will I find options for me at the hotel's breakfast?

Yes, absolutely. Our buffet includes plant-based milks, gluten-free breads and vegan options so that you can enjoy your breakfast with complete peace of mind. If you have any additional allergies, let us know when you book and we will have everything ready for your arrival.

I've seen there is a debate about a tourist tax in Seville. Do I have to pay it when I arrive at the hotel?

Seville does not currently apply any tourist tax. The City Council has proposed introducing one, but as things stand the Andalusian regional government (Junta de Andalucía) has not approved it, so the price you see on the website is the final price, with no additional charges for this. We recommend checking this answer from time to time, as the situation could change.
